My friend Evan always gives me awesome commissions to do.  This time he wanted a stormtrooper.  I've thought about doing one before, but his idea to incorporate the logo for the Galactic Empire was exactly what it needed.

I generally do a large date in Roman Numerals on the painting's edge, but this time I just had to go with standard numbers and paint the 2 darker, so that the 011 stands out.  This wouldn't have worked if I'd done this last year.
